Skye Getaways is a small family business run by Mike and Jennie Chapman. We moved to the Isle of Skye from London in 2018, looking to make a huge life-change, enjoy being part of a rural community and spending time in the outdoors. Our home is just next door to the holiday accommodation, so we are usually easily on hand if you have any questions or just want to find out more about the area – the kettle is always on too!

​We are great lovers of the outdoors so Skye is the perfect place for us. We enjoy exploring the island and are happy to share our favourite spots and recommendations. Mike is a keen walker and climber. Jennie is also a lover of walking so we can help you out with loads of inside-knowledge ideas for great walks in Skye, whatever your preferences. Our sons are now grown up - one living in Sweden and one in England. We have adopted a rescue dog, Fern, who is friendly and loves to say hello to our guests but we always keep her away if you prefer.
