UPDATED October 2020 - At Skye Getaways we are delighted to be welcoming our guests back to our holiday properties. Our properties are all self contained, with no shared access.
The well-being of our guests and our community is our priority.
We are proud to say that we have acquired the Industry Standard "Good to Go" mark, meaning that Skye Getaways follows government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
From November 2020 updated Scottish Government guidance about travel and tourism means that we remain open for visitors travelling for leisure living in a tier 0, 1 or 2 area of Scotland and from other parts of the UK dependant on guidelines for the area where you live. We are also able to accept bookings from guests travelling for essential travel such as work from a wider area. We are no longer allowed to accept bookings from guests for leisure travel who live in a tier 3 or 4 area of Scotland and we are asked to urge guests from other parts of the UK or overseas where Covid levels are higher than in the Highlands of Scotland to follow relevant local travel restrictions and think hard about the public health implications, and if travelling outside the UK, the quarantine restrictions. As you will appreciate the situation remains fluid. If you are based in a higher risk area we are sad ask you not to book with us until these guidelines are changed.
Arrival & Departure:
Check-in and check-out will be using a keybox, without direct contact with us.
All information regarding check in and check out will be emailed to you in advance
We love to personally meet our guests to welcome you to our accommodation. We will still aim to do this, but at a safe distance
We will provide simple instructions for you to follow when you depart to help us prepare the property for the next guests and to minimise the risk to all parties
If you develop symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay, you must inform us immediately. If you are well enough to travel, you should return home as soon as possible and self-isolate in accordance with current Government guidance.
We are offering full refunds on all bookings if you are not able to travel due to:
The need to self isolate because of developing Covid-19 symptoms
The need to self isolate due to being identified via track and trace system
Current Government restrictions or guidelines in place preventing travel to our property
Please contact us with any questions regarding any of the above or your upcoming holiday
We look forward to seeing you soon!
