UPDATED April 2021 - At Skye Getaways we will be delighted to welcome guests back to our holiday properties and have opened our booking calendar from 26th April 2021 in line with government guidelines. Our properties are all self contained, with no shared access. Initially we expect to be able to accept bookings from single households or extended households, with shared households able to stay as soon as regulations allow (current indicative date is 17th May 2021.

 

The well-being of our guests and our community is our priority.

We are proud to say that we have acquired the Industry Standard "Good to Go" mark, meaning that Skye Getaways follows government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

​We will follow all government guidelines and regulations. As you will appreciate the situation remains fluid and is changing regularly. We can only accept bookings that are in line with travel regulations. We will for this season of course offer a fully flexible cancellation policy in the event that travel is restricted due to any Covid regulations or need to isolate. 

While Covid procedures remain in place the following will be in place - 

Arrival & Departure:

  • Check-in and check-out will be using a keybox, without direct contact with us.

  • All information regarding check in and check out will be emailed to you in advance

  • We love to personally meet our guests to welcome you to our accommodation. We will still aim to do this, but at a safe distance

  • We will provide simple instructions for you to follow when you depart to help us prepare the property for the next guests and to minimise the risk to all parties

If you develop symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay, you must inform us immediately. If you are well enough to travel, you should return home as soon as possible and self-isolate in accordance with current Government guidance.

Cancellations:

We are offering full refunds on all bookings if you are not able to travel due to:

  • The need to self isolate because of developing Covid-19 symptoms

  • The need to self isolate due to being identified via track and trace system

  • Current Government restrictions or guidelines in place preventing travel to our property
